Marathi Mitra Berlin (MMB) is active in Berlin since 2016 and officially registered as a non Profit association (e.V) in 2019. In the last 5 years MMB has organised many festival celebrations such as Sankranti, GudhiPadwa, Ganesh Festival, Diwali as well as Music Concerts, community get-togethers and movie Screenings.

On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi every month, MMB organises a monthly meet where people participate in Atharvashirsha Chanting.

2022 also marked the beginning of Ganapati Pratishthapana with a replica of Shri Kasba Ganpati which is brought to  Berlin from Pune. The 10 days festival is celebrated with Maha Aarti and Miravnuk with Ramanbaug Yuva Manch’s 50 percussion enthusiasts on Dhol-Tasha-Zanz and MMB’s own lezim troupe of 30 female dancers wishing Bappa goodbye in a 5 hour long procession.
